Agritourism Association Virtual Listening Session

The Montana Agritourism Steering Committee is working to develop a statewide agritourism association and seeks feedback to shape it based on members’ needs. Virtual listening sessions will be held to gain stakeholder interest in actively contributing to the association’s development. Your input will help to develop the future association goals and structure.

Two virtual sessions will be held on Zoom using a similar format. A survey is available if you are unable to attend or want to provide additional feedback after the session. Please RSVP or use the link below to register for a session and to access the feedback survey.

Advice From the Experts

Agritourism Business Resources

Encounter Agriculture!

The Department of Agriculture is working with partner organizations to create resources for farmers/ranchers who are interested in starting agritourism activities and to market those offerings to visitors.

Even if you’re not a farmer or rancher, you can connect with the land and the people that produce the foods and beverages you consume. Agritourism is where agriculture and tourism intersect, as farms, ranches and production facilities invite the public onto their property to get a taste of the country and enjoy great agricultural products at the peak of perfection.

Visiting a farm, ranch, winery, brewery, or special agriculture event offers wonderful, unique experiences. Selecting the perfect pumpkin straight from the patch, roping a calf, buying farm fresh products, enjoying local entertainment, participating in activities, or getting to know a local winemaker are just a few of the fun and fabulous activities waiting for you.

Escape from the stress of traffic jams and office cubicles and spend the day with your family in the country!
